Privacy Policy
Quack for iOS ยท Last updated April 15, 2026
This policy explains what the app does and doesn't do with your data. The short version: Quack does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Photo Library Access
Quack requests access to your photo library so you can swipe through your photos and choose which to delete. All photo processing happens entirely on your device. Photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with anyone โ not with the developer, not with any third party.
Data Stored On Your Device
Quack saves small amounts of information locally on your device so the app can remember your preferences between launches:
- IDs of photos you've marked to delete or chosen to keep
- Your selected sort order and album filters
- Statistics such as the number of photos reviewed
This information never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
Analytics and Tracking
Quack contains no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. No third-party SDKs are embedded in the app. The app does not connect to any server operated by the developer.
Tip Jar (In-App Purchases)
Quack offers optional tips through Apple's In-App Purchase system. If you choose to leave a tip, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple. Quack receives only a confirmation that the purchase succeeded โ no payment details, name, email, or other personal information is shared with the developer.
Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Network Access
Quack makes no network requests except those made by Apple's StoreKit framework when loading tip products and processing optional purchases.
